Both originally from Wagga, we met at work and have since lived and worked in Malaysia, Darwin and Canberra. During our travels we have worked (at times together) for Woods Bagot Architects, Spowers Architects and Hughes Trueman Engineers. Rod worked for Architects AMC Projects in Canberra and Karen contracted to Group One Building Design in Darwin and Connell Wagner Engineers in Canberra. Rod spent several years teaching AutoCAD at the Northern Territory University and at TAFE Riverina.
We returned to Wagga and established Icono in 2002 to bring a different design perspective to Wagga. Rod is the business manager and we are both involved in the design and documentation of our projects.
We love living in Wagga and spend our personal time with our three sons and relentlessly renovating our home.
