Carroll Alterations
Carroll alterations and additions was a complete transformation of a quaint cottage into a large modern home. The residence is located in the Wagga Conservation area so great care was taken to maintain the integrity of the original cottage and provide a complimentary addition. An existing fibro lean-to addition was removed and the new addition roof tucked in behind to obscure the bulk as much as possible. We maintained 2 Bedrooms, a Sleepout and the Dining room which was the extent of the original brick cottage. The Dining room became a Sitting Room with the Sleepout becoming the Study. The extension added 2 more Bedrooms, an Ensuite, Kitchen, Dining Living, Bathroom and Laundry. At the rear of the property we included a large covered Deck and a double Garage with laneway access. The Garage was slightly separated from the residence to provide natural light to the Eastern end of the main building.
The exterior of the addition is a similar style to the original with the interior being very modern. The original residence was refurbished both internally and externally.
The addition was completed in 2006.
