The design was to create a contemporary family home that took advantage of the unique qualities of the site and the expansive views it affords. The owners had strong ideas about what they wanted and were able to provide a detailed brief. It was to be a light and open design with definite separation between the childrens wing and the parents retreat.

Horizontal lines created by external fascias and parapets make a striking profile on the approach to this contemporary family home.

Stretching east west across the large sloping site, all bedrooms & living areas enjoy winter sun light and spectacular views north over the Wagga valley.

A large covered area, adjacent to the main living room, reduces direct sun whilst extensive full height double glazing still allows ample light. The covered area features a clear 12m span framing the stunning view .

Energy efficient, spacious, light filled and open, this home delivers everything the family were dreaming of.

The owners completed the interior design and have done a sensational job, bringing an oriental style to the interior. The large dark panelled internal doors and floors are features that work beautifully with the stark white walls.
